Dear Colleagues,
It is my honor and pleasure to welcome you all to the 4th International RED SEAOphthalmology Symposium (RSOS 2018) in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
Following the great success of previous symposiums and the positive feedback from attendees and exhibitors, it is imperative that RSOS 2018 will provide the delegates with greater platform to discuss ophthalmic issues concerning advanced techniques, modern treatment methods and better vision for patients. A commercial exhibition will update you on the latest in the ophthalmic and optical technology.
I would like to thank our international guest speakers and national speakers, collaborating organizations and the executive board of Saudi Ophthalmological Society (SOS) for their support and cooperation as well as Scientific Program Committee. I would also like to thank all our sponsors for their trust and support.
I hope you will enjoy RSOS 2018 and believe it will stimulate a creative exchange of ideas and will be personally rewarding.

Dear Colleagues,
The Saudi Ophthalmological Society (SOS) with Postgrad Medical Education in the Ministry of National Guard will hold its 4th International RED SEA Ophthalmology Symposium (RSOS 2018) from 10 – 13 January 2018 at Jeddah Hilton Hotel in Jeddah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The focus of the 4th International RED SEA Ophthalmology Symposium will be on Cornea ,Cataract, Refractive Surgery, Retina and Pediatric Ophthalmology In addition to that we will have Optometry, Ophthalmic Courses for Ophthalmic Nurses, Technicians & Opticians.
These topics will be covered through presentations, instructional workshops, courses and wet-labs.
Many eminent speakers from all over the world will share their experiences during this Symposium pre- symposium courses.
The RSOS 2018 Scientific Program Committee is putting together a state of the art program that will make RSOS 2018 a memorable education as well as social experience for everyone. Parallel to the symposium, a commercial exhibition will update you on the latest in the ophthalmic and optical technology.
We invite you to participate and share your experiences in this Symposium by submitting your abstracts for paper, course, workshop, poster and videos.

Dear Friends & Colleagues,
It is my great pleasure to invite you to attend the 4th RSOS, to be held in Jeddah from 10 – 13 January 2018 .
We are delighted that Jeddah has appointment with this prestigious ophthalmic event, which is now becoming a regional pinnacle “must go meeting” in ophthalmology. The RSOS 2018 congress, which will be co-organized and collaborated with the International societies of Ophthalmology, gathers a distinguished international faculty of top specialists in ophthalmology from around the world to share their expertise and experience with clinicians, eye surgeons and researchers from the region and globally.
RSOS in Jeddah will focus on exciting areas such as new treatments for major eye diseases, novel imaging and surgical techniques, and results of pivotal clinical trials to provide evidence-based practices for ophthalmologists. In addition, Jeddah has a major tourist attractions and sights including the amazing Red Sea side.
